
Muscat: The Sultan Qaboos University Hospital has successfully localised the operation of implanting artificial urinary control devices for men.
The medical procedure is deemed the first of its kind in the Sultanate of Oman.
The hospital recently conducted a similar operation at its premises in the University Medical City. The surgery was carried out by a fully integrated multi-specialty medical team led by Dr. Intisar Mohammed Al Hashmi, Consultant Urologist at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, University Medical City.
