Muscat: Authorities have urged motorists using Sultan Said bin Taimur Street (Adam–Thumrait Road) to exercise the utmost caution while travelling through areas affected by sand accumulation and reduced horizontal visibility caused by active winds.
Drivers are advised to slow down, maintain a safe following distance, and remain alert when passing through sections experiencing blowing sand and poor visibility.
The advisory comes as strong winds continue to affect parts of the route, creating hazardous driving conditions. Motorists are encouraged to follow traffic safety instructions and avoid unnecessary risks until weather conditions improve.
Authorities wished all road users a safe journey, urging everyone to prioritise safety while travelling.
